In the fall of 2019, the York Builders Association contracted with a local video production company to create several videos showcasing the many opportunities a career in the trades can provide. The YBA created seven videos, six with individual focuses such as apprenticeships, or myth busters, and the final video is a compilation of all the videos with an overall message about careers in the trades.
The series is just part of the YBA’s commitment to highlight the career opportunities, connecting members, schools, students, and parents and bringing together the community through partnerships.
The WorkforceNOW brand serves as the umbrella for the YBA?s programs designed to support workforce development. The WorkforceNOW Video playlist is available on YouTube.
Laurie Lourie, YBA Executive Vice President, accepted the award on behalf of the York Builders Association during the PBA Winter Installation and Awards Banquet at the Valley Forge Casino Resort.
