DESCRIPTION:Construction Career Days are designed to provide students with a first-hand look at the diverse opportunities available for skilled trade careers in York County and surrounding areas. \nJoin us on Friday\, April 10\, at Yoe Construction in Dallastown to tour their facility\, meet their team\, and learn firsthand what career opportunities they offer. \nYoe Construction’s Red Lion location features its Steel Trades and Fabrication division. \nOpen to all York County High School Students. \nREGISTER \n \nObjectives for Construction Career Days: \n\nProvide high school students with the resources they need to learn more about skill trade careers that are in high demand.\nIntroduce high school students to local construction trade organizations that are interested in hiring high school graduates.\nProvide students with the right connections in the construction trades and make sure students know how to reach out to them when seeking employment.\nGive students a chance to learn about the range of job opportunities available through Workforce NOW Construction Career Day host companies.\nShare information about scholarship opportunities.\nShare information about trade apprenticeships\, on-the-job training\, internships\, etc.
