SUMMARY:2025 Building Trades Career Fair
DESCRIPTION:The YBA Workforce NOW Foundation is hosting a career fair for high school students on November 12\, 2025\, at the Wyndham Garden York from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. \nEvent Details: \n\nHigh school students will have the opportunity to explore a variety of career paths in the building trades and connect with local employers.\nEmployers will provide information on career and volunteer opportunities\, training programs\, apprenticeships\, and showcase hands-on activities\, tools of the trades\, and equipment.\n\nSchools can REGISTER as a group and choose a preferred time slot to attend. \nThis event is open to all YBA members. While there is no registration fee\, we kindly request a donation to the Workforce NOW Foundation in lieu of a fee. Please use the Business Registration link to reserve your space. \nEmployer Participation: \n\nWe encourage businesses to bring staff members who can engage with students and share their experiences in the building trades\, alongside HR staff.\nBusinesses are welcome to offer hands-on experiences and demonstrations.\nVehicle and equipment displays are also welcome\, there will be limited space available in the parking lot.\n\nOur goal is to create an engaging and immersive experience for students\, so they can see\, feel\, and hear firsthand about career opportunities in your business. \nBUSINESS REGISTRATION LINK
